“Gestern morgen ist mein Freund Amdi Mostafa mit einem Seil um den Hals von der Terrasse seines Gebäudes im Lager von Haldensleben gesprungen.
Ich glaube, dass der Druck der deutschen Regierung Schuld daran ist: Du darfst nicht raus, Du bist wie ein Gefangener. Und die Mehrheit der Menschen, die in dem Lager arbeiten, sind richtige Rassisten. Darunter leiden wir sehr.

You may know that as an asylum seeker like me needs the approval of the Foreigners’ Registration Office (Ausländerbehörde - ABH) in Meiningen as well as Jena to change my residency from one to the other city.
Miloud Lahmar Cherif, an Algerian refugee in Germany since December 2009, I’m married and my wife comes from Ukraine, we have a child and live currently in Meiningen. I’m also an activist for the rights of refugees and migrants with the VOICE Refugee Forum since 2010.

In August 2014, first preparation meeting took place in Jena. Refugee’s activist from different protests in Germany exchanged their experiences and information during this time.
Following the call, deportation was marked as the main target for the refugee’s movement in Germany. Hence a demand to unite solidarity was emphasized.
